About Our Company
Since 1991, Bilingual Communications has provided professional Spanish<>English language services — translation, transcription, interpretation, cultural consultation, language instruction, and video voice-over — for a growing international clientele. Because we specialize in a single language pair, we are able to concentrate our resources and provide in-depth support for our clients in the cultures we know best.
The company’s founder and president, Jackie Metivier, is a native Spanish-speaker from Huauchinango, Puebla, Mexico, who holds an advanced degree in communications. She is certified by the American Translators Association as a translator from English to Spanish, and is a State Certified Spanish<>English Court interpreter. Jackie was president of the Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters from 2003-2006.
